2. John Ripley (William ) was born on 2 Feb 1584 in England. He died on 2 Feb 1684.

Was admitted a freeman 14 May 1656.
He had land granted him at Himgham, in 1655.

John married Elizabeth Hobart, daughter of Rev. Peter Hobart, unknown. Elizabeth was born unknown. She died in 1692.

They had the following children:

+	6	M	i	John Ripley was born on 20 Jan 1655 and died on 7 Sep 1720.
+	7	M	ii	Joshua Ripley was born on 9 May 1658 and died on 18 May 1739.
	8	M	iii	Jeremiah Ripley was born in Sep 1662. He died in 1737.
	9	M	iv	Josiah Ripley was born on 12 May 1667.
	10	M	v	Peter Ripley was born on 21 Oct 1668.
	11	F	vi	Rebecca Ripley was born on 18 Jan 1670. She died on 1 Oct 1670.
	12	M	vii	Hezekiah Ripley was born on 15 Dec 1672. He died on 13 Mar 1691 from Drowned. Attempting to ford the Shetucket River when it was much swollen, he was thrown from his horse and drowned.

3. Abraham Ripley (William ).

Was admitted a freeman 14 May 1656.

Abraham married Mary Fransworth.

They had the following children:

	14	M	ii	Abraham Ripley was born on 21 Sep 1661.
	15	F	iii	Elizabeth Ripley was born in 1664.
	16	M	iv	Joseph Ripley was born on 12 May 1667. He died in 1737.
	17	F	v	Esther Ripley was born on 24 Jul 1670.
	18	F	vi	Rebecca Ripley was born on 20 Nov 1674.
	19	M	vii	Isaac Ripley was born on 4 Aug 1678.
	20	M	viii	James Ripley was born on 19 Sep 1679.
	21	F	ix	Alice Ripley was born on 17 Sep 1682.
